Marie is a joker and quite shy type of girl to her parents despair.She often likes to pull pranks on them and keeps calling them 'old' or 'boss' just to play with their mind.She was never let alone to do everything she wanted,and so Alice found some kind of refuge in being childish,despite her age.

She was born in London,England to her half English and half Korean parents; Tsuki and Arthur Jackson.Her father is a doctor while her mother is casnic.Marie is the only child in her family.When she was 6 years old,her uncle tried to abuse her when he was babysitting her.Her parents found out,only when she turned 8 years old and couldn't hide it anymore.She was frightened by people moving close or trying to touch her.
She growed up and open more and more to people with the help of a psiholog and her parents and friends.Her parents are kind of strict with her and try to not have her being abused again.Alice mostly hides her past from her new friends.
When she meet Marcus,he and she had become close friends because their mothers were childhood friends and also old classmates.Alice started to fall in love with him when she was in the 6 grade.She never told him his feelings,because she is scared of him finding out about her past and want to push her away from him and break their friendship.

He was born in London,England but originally his parents are from Russia and Scotland.His mother is irish while his father is an ex-soldier for the russian army.He does have a older sister that is married and has already her own family,but she lives in America.
When he was 8 years old he was send to an Army School.There he learned to never take 'no' as an answer and always try to reach his goals,whatever it takes to do so.He can't feel pain that much and even if he feels it,he wont admite it too easily.
